The luminaria effort in 2020 was unique due to Covid-19 distancing requirements. Rather than having a single luminaria party at one location, the parts (sand, bags, and candles) were distributed to the homes of many volunteers. After assembly, other volunteers picked up the bags and placed them throughout the neighborhood. The end result was a calm and beautiful Christmas Eve.
